No two fabrication shops store the same material. The architecture starts with the tower as the basic unit. Each tower holds 6 to 12 layers, customizable. Tower count ranges from two to four or more. Plate dimensions cover 3,000 by 1,500 up to 6,000 by 2,000 millimeters.
The modular approach extends beyond size. Layer clear height is adjustable. A shop storing thin sheet can reduce clear space to maximize the number of usable levels. A shop storing thick plate or palletized bundles increases clear height at the cost of level count. The system does not force a compromise between material types. Different towers can be configured differently within the same installation.

The control system supports this flexibility. The PLC touchscreen allows slot assignment by material type, dimension, or any classification the shop uses. A tower can be dedicated to stainless, another to aluminum, a third to carbon steel. Or the system can mix materials within a tower if the shop prefers to organize by thickness or customer job.
The material cart and shuttle serve whatever configuration the towers define. The shuttle travels the tower face, extracting plates from their assigned levels. The cart receives the plate and delivers it to the output point. Changing the tower configuration does not require changing the handling mechanism, which keeps the system serviceable and parts common across installations.
For shops planning growth, the modular design matters. A two-tower system can expand to three or four towers later if floor space allows and the business case supports it. The control system scales with the hardware. The ERP integration remains consistent. The operator interface does not change.

The standard models cover the common industry sizes, but a shop storing 6,000 by 2,500 millimeter plate or a non-standard sheet can specify that requirement. The tower frame, shuttle travel, and material cart all accommodate the dimensions rather than forcing the material to fit a fixed envelope.
The practical result is a storage system that fits the shop rather than the shop fitting the system. A fabricator with limited floor space but high ceiling clearance can go tall with fewer towers.
