Herochu Fiber Laser Cutting Machine with Automated Loader
Turn-key productivity from 39 000 USD, CE / EU / ISO 9001 certified
Every minute a fiber laser stands idle, the beam is burning money instead of metal. Herochu couples a 3 – 6 kW resonator with a cassette-type automated loader that keeps the table cycling while your operator is still drinking coffee. The package lands on your floor for 39 000 USD, occupies less space than two parking bays and pays for itself in under eleven months—verified by invoices from 220 plants across 38 countries.

- One footprint, three jobs
The tower stores 8 – 13 shelves (3 t or 5 t each), feeds the laser, and stacks finished parts in the same motion. Material enters at floor level, lifts at 9 m/min, crosses to the shuttle at 12 m/min and lands on the cutting table within ±0.5 mm. You cut, the gripper returns, unloads the skeleton and pre-positions the next sheet while the gantry is still blowing off slag. Average sheet-to-sheet time: 65 s on 3015 format, 75 s on 6020. - Built for lights-out, approved for insurance
Laser-class enclosure, Category-3 safety PLC, dual-channel interlocks and a 2 000 °C-rated spark quench trap satisfy CE-MD, CE-LVD and EN ISO 11553. The tower door closes before the gripper moves; the gripper opens only when the table is static. If a sheet slips, inductive sensors stop the cycle and illuminate the fault on the 15-inch HMI—no human entry required. - Carbon steel to copper, one head does it
Herochu sources the cutting head from RayTools or Precitec—your choice. Auto-focus range 0 – 30 mm, 0.05 mm repeatability, capacitive height control that tracks oil-canning in real time. With 3 kW you pierce 20 mm mild steel, 8 mm stainless, 6 mm aluminium; with 6 kW the same machine cuts 25 mm mild steel at 1.2 m/min while drawing only 28 kW from the grid—half the consumption of a 4 kW CO₂ laser built five years ago. - Automation that respects cash flow
Start small: a single 3015 loader and one pallet. When orders double, bolt on a second tower, plug in the CAN-bus cable and double capacity overnight. No civil work, no pit, no crane. The modular chain-driven magazine accepts shelves in pairs, so you expand during a weekend without touching the laser. - Gripper intelligence, not brute force
The vacuum beam carries eight independent zones. Before descent the PLC weighs the expected load; if measured mass deviates by more than 3 % the beam releases and requests operator check—preventing a 5 mm plate from crashing into a 2 mm program. During unload the gripper tilts 5° and taps the skeleton; parts separate cleanly, reducing the need for manual slat cleaning by 70 %. - Software that speaks your language
Herochu nests in SigmaNest, Lantek or Alma—whichever you already own. The post-processor writes not only the cutting path but also the loader sequence: which shelf, which face, which remnant return. If you run ERP, the tower reports real-time stock by weight and by remaining square metres, eliminating month-end physical counts. - Energy and consumables you can forecast
IPG or nLIGHT source, 30 % wall-plug efficiency, 100 000 h diode life. Slats last 30 % longer because the gripper lifts skeletons instead of dragging them. Filter cartridges on the 7.5 kW extractor hold 15 kg of dust; a differential-pressure sensor e-mails you when swap-out is due—no daily guesswork. - Global proof, local spare parts
A 1 200 W variant cuts 1 mm aluminium at 60 m/min for a South Korean e-bike factory. A 6 kW version runs two shifts in a Dutch subcontractor who ships 40 t/week to offshore wind. We stock motors, chains, nozzles and focus lenses in Rotterdam, Dubai, Houston and Pune. FedEx can reach any continent within 72 h; our engineer follows if the fault is not solved by VPN. - Specifications you can quote to your buyer

Loader capacity per shelf: 3 t or 5 t
Magazine height: 4 100 – 7 800 mm depending on shelf count
Average noise: < 75 dB(A) at 1 m
Electrical supply: 380 – 480 V ±10 %, 50 / 60 Hz, 32 A three-phase
Compressed air: 6 bar, 800 l/min, dry and filtered
Floor loading: 2 000 kg / m², no special foundation - Services bundled, not billed separately
- 3-D factory simulation within 48 h of receiving your drawings
- Foundation-free install: we grout the laser frame to your existing slab
- Three days operator training plus one-day maintenance course
- 12-month full-machine warranty, 36-month on the laser source
- Lifetime remote diagnostics—no subscription fee
- Upgrade path: convert to 8 kW or add tube-cutting module later

- Financial packages that protect cash
We partner with DLL and Sparkasse Leasing to offer 3-, 4- or 5-year finance leases. A 3015 3 kW bundle costs 790 USD per month over 60 months—less than one shift operator. Buy-out at the end is 1 %; interest is fully tax-deductible in most jurisdictions. - Sustainability statement for your ESG report
Steel frame uses 92 % recycled content. The resonator’s diodes reduce power draw by 60 % versus CO₂ technology, saving 38 t CO₂ per year on a two-shift schedule. Filter dust is collected in UN-approved cartridges and can be smelted for mild-steel scrap. Packaging is plywood-free; stillages return to us on the next delivery run. - Next move
E-mail your most-cut sheet sizes, weekly tonnage and existing laser hours. We will return a layout drawing, cycle-time table and ROI spreadsheet within one working day. If the numbers look good, visit our demo hall in Shanghai or Stuttgart and watch the tower feed 200 sheets while you sip coffee—no hard hat required.
