The loading truss manipulator swings into action. It moves horizontally to position itself directly above the loading station. Its array of suction cups descends, securely gripping the top sheet from the stack. After successfully separating the sheet, the manipulator rises to a safe transit height, moves horizontally to traverse above the laser cutting machine’s exchange table, and then descends with pinpoint accuracy to place the sheet in the designated loading position.
