Unlike generic pallet racking, the Herochu system is engineered for flat stock. Staggered drawer levels keep 2000 × 1000 mm, 2500 × 1300 mm or 3000 × 1500 mm sheets horizontal, eliminating the sag that causes camber and scrap. Each drawer rides on sealed bearings rated at 2 000 kg per level, allowing full extension under load so operators can pick the exact sheet without toppling adjacent stock. - Vertical Density That Pays
Standard modules are 12 tiers high, yet ceiling height is rarely the limiting factor—floor footprint is. By stacking drawers 2.5 m–4 m up, one 1.2 m² bay stores up to 24 t of material that formerly occupied 20 m² on the ground. Each drawer is equipped with replaceable sleepers (oak or polymer) that create a 50 mm–200 mm pitch between levels. Fork pockets are laser-cut into the sleepers, letting forks slide in at exactly the right depth. The operator drives in, lifts 20 mm, pulls the drawer 95 % out, and lowers the sheet onto a scissor table or straight to the laser shuttle table—no straps, no magnets, no climbing. - Modular & Expandable
Herochu racks bolt together like giant Meccano. Start with one 8-layer starter bay (HC-F2513-82) and add wings as volume grows. Frames are hot-rolled carbon steel, powder-coated RAL 7035 for corrosion resistance and 95 % recyclability at end-of-life. Need to move the shop?
